Mountain bike tour on Didgori. Northern Path

The tour begins in the historic location of Didgori in Georgia, where the Georgians achieved the greatest victory in their history on August 12, 1121, against the coalition army of the Seljuk Turks. From here, the journey proceeds to the alpine ridge and Chakhergila Valley located to the northeast of the Trialeti Range, where the adventure begins. At the start of the journey, you will need to overcome a certain elevation and reach the highest point of this ridge, which will prepare you for the subsequent technical descent. The next segment, which comprises eighty percent of the tour, involves descending on various medium-difficulty terrain. The tour transitions from the alpine zone to the leafy forest trails and old forestry roads. The main challenge of this tour is the crevices created by water in the middle of the trail. It is also essential to stay close to the guide because the paths in the forest often branch out, posing a risk of getting lost. The tour concludes in Kvemo Nichbisi.
